The Process: The goal with this experiment was to make it look like an old school stop-motion animation, but done with the speed of Character Animator. I started with a toy that could stand on its own two feet.
I photoshopped various positions for each body part used in this experiment. I wound up adding cycle layers (frame by frame animation)
It usually takes 2 days to rig and test a character. This includes some special moves; The Batman throw took about 4 hours to set up from photos.
